Volunteer Roles

Car Parkers

Welcome people by safely alleviating congestion and confusion as people drive onto (and depart) the Harvest Union County property.

Bulletin Greeter

Stand at tables outside of the middle doors of the worship center. Hand out the bulletins (or other materials) for the service. Be on mission, while welcoming familiar faces, and looking out for unfamiliar/new faces!

Welcome Center

To provide answers and information that connects people to their needs, and to get them plugged into Harvest Union County. Important to be familiar with whats going on in the life of our church.

Usher

Facilitate a friendly and distraction-free environment which allows people to worship Christ. Duties involve assisting with seating, taking of offering and communion.

Door Greeter

Prop the door open, stand by the door under the car port, and welcome those inside. Provide eye contact, a genuine smile, and a handshake if able. Look for people who may need extra help (handicapped, families with smaller children, etc.)

Inside Greeter

Stand back from the doors 15-20 feet to look/assess for those that may need help, perhaps a new family with children who may need directed to the New Kid Check-in area, first time attenders looking a little lost, who may need guidance to the Worship Center. Help guests by walking them to specific areas and introducing them to the ‘next’ person (New Kids Check in, Welcome Center, etc.)

New Kids Check In

Provide information and answering questions about Harvest Kids Wing, and assist new families and get their children checked into the age appropriate classroom.
